Few notes for 1976: 20 different groups In ending, They played shuckatoom ending even when Casey outroed the closure. From the time shuckatoom debuted in October 1975 until August 1976, the show's ending featured Casey talking over the cat's meow theme music. Then when he had finished talking, shuckatoom was played. Starting in August 1976, shuckatoom started as soon as the #1 song ended with Casey talking over it until he was finished.

I'm listening to the multi-chart (BB, CB, RW) Top 50 countdown for this week right now on The Fox Oldies (thefoxoldies.com). Those first two extras are fine, but oh how I wish something else would replace that third one.

Yeah, when I heard that I was thinking "it obviously had been a while since either Casey or whoever wrote that had been on a 240". So long that their ears had stopped ringing from how loud the props were .

I missed it when I put it into the show. <sigh> The same thing happened on the Supersized 78 when we got a double "Americaaan Top 40" going into Little River Band.
