While the powers that be may have already developed the full show schedule for 2020... It would be fun to hear the 1970 year-end show in 2020, and then 1971 in 2021, and then 1972 in 2022, etc. While fans here might like to hear the year-end show which hasn't been played in awhile, the casual music fan might enjoy hearing the top songs from 50 years ago. The same could be done for the 80s shows... the 1980 year-end show in 2020, 1981 in 2021, etc. Just an idea. Oh, if it were only that easy... OK OnWithTheCountdown ... Why would this be difficult for the '70s series? Casey took very few vacations these years, and all 10 year-enders are available. If the crew played it smart, this could be done. Pairing B shows for 2020 - 2022 (1970 - 1972 shows for the "A" option) might be interesting as they probably wouldn't want to feature shows that would be played within a 5 year period. The '80s series might be different as Casey took more vacations during the year so setting up a multi-year plan of year-enders could be more difficult. Given that '80 and '81 haven't been played for awhile, is there a reason why '80 couldn't be featured next year, and '81 the following year? I'm not trying to start anything here... although I usually enjoy sitting by the bowl of garlic mashed potatoes at the Christmas table so if you want to start something, I might just fling a big glob of potatoes at you .

It's all good...was just a friendly jab. But we know Premiere doesn't think like that; although your point is well taken. 1980 and 1981 would be due for year-enders the next couple years, and 1982 would be good to repeat by the end of 2022. I might have most of that bowl of garlic potatoes eaten...LOL...they are good!!!

I wonder how many stations will play all 4 hours of both parts of this countdown? KOKZ is going with all 4 hours Saturday morning.
WMGN moved start time from 9pm to 7pm Central time Saturday for this weekend's show. www.magic98.com/show/american-top-40/

Anyone want to hear the top 80 of 1973 countdown? Thinking about playing that back on 1/5/20.

I forgot that WPAC also airs the four-hour shows from the 70's. But not lately Yeah, has anyone gotten to the bottom of what the deal is with PAC 98.7?

But not lately Yeah, has anyone gotten to the bottom of what the deal is with PAC 98.7? The 70's Station List says they've geoblocked their stream. Unfortunately they seem to have also stopped saving the "Mornings" and "Casey" files. I'm hoping that's only a holiday season thing.

Because I was so busy this past weekend, I was unable to catch the 12/16/72 countdown last weekend. I was wondering if any of you knew whether any stations would still be airing the countdown in the next few days. In the meantime, I'll be checking some stations online.

The only station I know that will air 12/16/72 is Magic 98 out of Madison, WI. Be warned, though, as it will air at 6 AM Central this coming Saturday.
