^2NUR will probably air the 1971 show Saturday nite. Same start time as WMGN.

Just a reminder for those that usually listen to the Thursday evening broadcast of AT40 on WSQL - this weeks show is 05/19/79 which is a 4-hour show. It will probably start an hour early.

"Gold" is a fabulous song which featured Stevie Nicks & Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac on background vocals & guitar respectively.

In a surprise, WMGN Magic 98 is going with May 19, 1979 (3-hr). Wow, that *IS* unusual for them. Dangit, I was looking forward to spending Saturday nite in 1971. Spend it Friday night in '71 on KLFM instead. Assuming they will go with the older show.

"Gold" is a fabulous song which featured Stevie Nicks & Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac on background vocals & guitar respectively. What’s funny is Stevie was in the studio to sing on the song “Midnight Wind” and since she was there she was asked to sing on “Gold” as well. Both were singles, and Stevie is very prominently featured on both, but “Gold” was the bigger hit.

"Gold" is a fabulous song which featured Stevie Nicks & Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac on background vocals & guitar respectively. Stewart wrote the song some time after he left the folk group Kingston Trio. The song is from the album Bombs Away Dream Babies, in which Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham contributed. Although the guitar solo in "Gold" is similar in style to Lindsey Buckingham's, it was played by Stewart.

Spend it Friday night in '71 on KLFM instead. Assuming they will go with the older show. After airing 3 straight 1979 shows, KLFM is going with the show from May 15, 1971. KLFM did pass on an Oct '78 show during that 1979 streak. KXGL (Sun 10 am) has been airing every B show from the 70s & 80s the past few months. WPAC plays all B shows from the 70s & 80s, except when the 4-hour 70s shows air. WPAC should air the entire 1979 show Saturday morning & Sunday afternoon. WJRZ is airing the 1971 show on Sunday night, so it appears the show won't be difficult to find this weekend.

OK, I was wondering if anyone was going to play 1971 after WMGN broke its precedent and agreed to play a 3 hour 1979 show. Up until now about the only times they played shows that were originally 4 hours is in November and December when the Christmas shows are the only other options.

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 5/27/78 2nd Guess - 5/22/76
After getting 1978 in back-to-back months, '78 now has the longest drought. Originally I was assuming 1975 would be a slam dunk, but that clearly won't happen now.

Guess I'll have to change it up for the second weekend in June--I had 6/8/74 down for that weekend.
