"I Saw Her Standing There" was performed at New York's Madison Square Garden on 11/28/74. John bet Elton that "Whatever Gets You Through The Night" would not reach #1, and agreed to appear onstage with Elton if he lost the bet.

I had no idea that John had performed for a final time in 1975-I know that once his son Sean was born in October of that year,he stepped away from the spotlight for another five years.

Listened to the 1971 show today and enjoyed kenmartin's mono to stereo work. I don't remember hearing "One Bad Apple" in wide stereo before, and never noticed that "I Am, I Said" had two drummers.

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 4/20/74 2nd Guess - 4/19/75
1974 is due and this show hasn't been played in a long time. 1975 hasn't been played as an 'A' in a long time...

And 4/26/75 was played just last year, so we likely have to wait for May for that year. We do have several options from that month: 5/3/75 (last played 2010), 5/10 (2013), 5/17 (2008), and 5/24 (never so far). It'll have been at least three months since the last 1975 standalone, but that's not exceptionally long.

If we do get your 1st guess here's hoping we hear...… "Now here's an AT40 extra. It's a song that, rather appropriately, debuted on the Hot 100 on April 20, 1974. This is "Another Park Another Sunday" by the Doobie Brothers.
