Quick question: The second show (on now on WTOJ) has only two debut songs. During the 1970-88 Casey era, was there ever a week with only one debut song? Pretty sure there was never a week with no new songs.

One of the runners-up for "Most Magnetic Male", 1970: Bill Cosby. Sorry, Bill, guess you'll have to try harder!

Pretty sure there was never a week with no new songs. For one debut song, these come to mind: 8/28/76: Teddy Bear - Red Sovine (40) 9/20/80: (Sartorial Eloquence) Don't Ya Wanna Play This Game No More - Elton John (40) 1/09/88: Just Like Heaven - The Cure (40)

Way more single debut weeks than I would've thought. And only one (01/09/88) was around 'frozen week' end-of-year time.

Sorry about that. Time Warner at it's best. Stream has been restored. Phew! Thanks! And I guess Time-Warner is no better than my own local crappy Cox Cable! Too bad we didn't get to hear the great, forgotten "Song Of Joy"...

I myself was listening to the stream to make sure it was working for you and all of a sudden it went dead. PANIC!!!
Thank heavens I live close to the studios and got here quickly.
Since this was messed up, I'll re-run the show in it's entirety tonight at midnight right after Delilah.
