Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor have a song currently rising towards the top 40 called "Marvin Gaye". If it makes the top 40, that will qualify.
Pitbull and Chris Brown also have a song called "Fun", which is also the name of the band who hit with songs like "We Are Young" and "Some Nights".

I heard "The Fix" by Nelly f/Jeremih this morning, which is inside the Mediabase CHR Top 40 chart and could be on AT40 by next month. The band The Fixx last hit the Top 40 with "How Much Is Enough" in 1991.

Currently there's the song "Truth Hurts" by Lizzo. The singer Truth Hurts had a song called "Addictive" in 2002.
Earlier this year on the Hot AC version of AT40 was the Christian band Joy. There's "Joy" by Apollo 100.

There was the late 1980's group Breathe, then several songs by that title in the early 2000's (including ones by Faith Hill and Michelle Branch).

Anyone mention "Starships" by Nicki Minaj yet? Because of course, Starship had many hits in the 1970s-80s... Which of course means that Marty Balin has been on both sides of this meme.
