Rosalla (sp?) had a dance song in maybe '92-93 called "Everybodys Free". Was a good song at the time.

2. Ringo. The former Beatles' drummer charted several top 40 solo hits during the 70's; in late 1964, Lorne Greene (of Bonanza fame) hit #1 on Billboard's hot 100 chart with "Ringo." I've gotta wonder. How many people actually bought this record thinking he was singing about Ringo Starr?!? (Hey, it was 1964 after all). Or maybe they got the name and title confused and thought Ringo Starr had a solo hit called "Lorne Greene".

I don't know if this was said but there was Blackfoot's "Train, Train" and of course, Train.
Same with "ABC" by the Jackson 5 and ABC.

If we can make special allowances for the second run of AT40...
Brandy had a few hits from 1998 to 2002. That's also a #1 song by Looking Glass from the summer of 1972.
