When Ryan presents Justin Timberlake's number 1 , for two weeks in a row (Week 16-27 ; July 02-03, 2016) , the voice of Casey Kasem introducing NSYNC´s number 1 (Bye Bye Bye) ,sixteen years ago , is heard as a tribute to the band and Casey , because Ryan also mentions this weekend is the 46th anniversary of the show.
And Ryan says the following week Nick Jonas will be the sub hoster of AT40.

I enjoyed the Casey clip this morning. It was nice to hear something "new" as the anniversary clip rather than the intro to the first show again.

Listening to the Ryan Tedder show right now. He is one of the best guest hosts that Seacrest has had. He has a nice genuine style and is telling detailed, Casey-length stories about some of his music and artist encounters and experiences. It sounds like he is genuinely enjoying being on the radio.

I listened from midway through the second hour through number one. Easily the only decent guest host in the Seacrest era. He really did a nice job. His delivery reminded me of when Jon Ondrasik subbed for Casey in 2007.

It is Ryan onair, rather than Shawn Mendes whoever. Week 16-43 CHR, Fith Harmony in at number 40 with Work from home.

Wish Ryan would let someone else besides artists host for him. Doesn't he know any other "radio professionals"? You would think they would jump at the chance to host AT40.

But he's already gone one better: last year Shawn guest hosted in a week when his "Stitches" was #1. |
