Summer Night City by ABBA, maybe their most american single . According to wikipedia the single, which was a brigde between The Album and Voulez-Vous albums even did not enter the Billboard Hot 100 and probably was not released as a single in the States.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull; Ribbon in the Sky, Stevie Wonder; Tequila Sunrise and James Dean, Eagles and Anybody Wanna Party (follow up to I Will Survive) DID NOT EVEN MAKE THE HOT 100 (bubbled under the Hot 100).

I also did Not include Album cuts at BB did not alow them To chart and only went up as far as 1991 for the most part as AT40 changed there chart and I felt it not far as songs that did not make the Top 40 on the Hot 100 made it to AT40

All of the above songs i posted never made At40 Maybe Casey's Top 40 but never At40 I should know I Have every top 40 hit from 1970 to today On the BB Hot 100 Year by year In Order On My Ipod. Of the songs you mentioned, the ones that made the Radio & Records chart: You Take Me Up - Thompson Twins (#39) Hands Tied - Scandal featuring Patty Smyth (#38) Beat Of A Heart - Scandal featuring Patty Smyth (#37) To Live And Die In LA - Wang Chung (#30) (Surprised this one didn't hit AT40) Yes - Merry Clayton (#40) (the first #40 peaker on the R&R charts since the charts re-extended to 40 positions in 1983) Never Thought (That I Could Love) - Dan Hill (#36) When I Dream Of You - Tommy Page (#31) Easy Come, Easy Go - Winger (#31) How Bad Do You Want It - Don Henley (#33) Don't Hold Back Your Love - Hall & Oates (#34) Straight To Your Heart - Bad English (#29) Dream Lover - Rebel Pebbles (#38) All True Man - Alexander O'Neal (#35) Can't Forget You - Gloria Estefan (#37) Bitter Tears - INXS (#32) Beautiful Girl - INXS (#19) (Even though AT40 was now using a chart with actual airplay figures, I'm surprised that this one didn't make it, especially since AT40 was now going by a mainstream chart) Groovy Train - The Farm (#24) (another surprise, as it peaked before AT40 switched charts) jcaragon - the three songs that you mentioned did not hit the AT40 chart.

I am sorry, maybe they did hit The Countdown, with Walt Baby Love, except the one by Genesis, the show was after AT40 and it has been a long time ago.
Candy Girl was number 1 in the UK charts.
Sometimes I dont see where is the frontier between AT40 and UK Top 40 since I was a fan of both shows at the same time.

"I Knew The Bride,When She Used to Rock 'N Roll-Nick Lowe. The song featured Huey Lewis & The News as backround singers and I think he also produced the song.
