Is KKMK also airing 2003 show, just like the app?? I don't know what KKMK is airing tonight. I couldn't get to the stream - it kept buffering for over an hour. The station was broadcasting over the air but their stream wasn't working for me.

I really enjoyed the 1994 show, one of my favorite years for music in the '90s. There were several mentions of the Northridge earthquake. This was one of the rare instances in the pre-PPW era when a song fell then moved back up, which "Breathe Again" did. I think prior to that it was "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" in February 1992. Sadly in the years since, we've lost Whitney Houston, Tom Petty and Delores O'Riordin, and others I've probably overlooked. Doug Hopkins of the Gin Blossoms had died in December 1993. Remakes were still popular, like "Without You"(Rick mentioned that Harry Nilsson had died a few days ago), "Because The Night," "I Can See Clearly Now" and "Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through." The most notable sample was Herbie Hancock's "Cantaloupe Island" heard prominently in "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)" by Us3. Rick skipped over my least favorite song on the countdown, "Getto Jam" by Domino. Celine Dion made a big leap of 8 notches to #3 with "The Power of Love" but wouldn't rise any higher. And after a long string of hits since the 70s, this would be Heart's last Top 40 hit, "Will You Be There In The morning."

What was the 1994 show, what's the date for this??

The app says February 5, 1994 now. It said 02/06/93 when the shows first changed on Saturday morning; either that was a mistake or they've switched the show since.

Hmm.. thats weird, i didnt even check to listen to 1993 last Sat. before I now realized it's 1994 show, then later changed caption to Feb 5, 1994. I was just looking forward to listen to Feb 1993 show which was not a repeat. Oh well, Feb 5, 1994 was ok though, it was last aired in 2012 once. When it comes to switching shows back... I don't think it was the first time, i think it's been done few times in 2018 though for the app, then again it's typical for Rick Dees show though when it comes to switching. My sorry for my outburst.

For the last four days, I have gotten an error message when trying to listen to Rick Dees on the App. It says - OOPS! didn't see that one coming. Please pardon our WHOOPS! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to bypass this and listen to the Weekly Top 40 online? I have tried to uninstall and install the App several times, and continue to get the error.

That happens to me too if I listen while driving through “dead zones” or I have a low signal. It wipes out all the progress you have made on the show and makes you start over which sux.

I really loved the 2003 show. It’s one of my favorite musical years of that decade. February 2003 brought some fond memories like the Buccaneers winning first Super Bowl, but then the bad memories of the Columbia shuttle disaster that time. Eerily similar to another NASA disaster that happened 17 years earlier in ‘86’. And I shed a tear listening to “Stole” by Kelly Rowland. Reminded me too much of that Kobe Bryant tragedy and his daughter and all the lives lost in that event. And it was fitting we heard an interview from Jennifer Lopez who recently performed in this years Super Bowl halftime.
