The app I did listened was really Jan 14, 1989 SS was Bobby Brown - Roni. It appears I think radio stations are listening to different show. I guess same for 90s and 2000s but I'm uncertain if it's like that.

I guess same for 90s and 2000s but I'm uncertain if it's like that. 1989 is still up at the app, and I hope it stays that way as we haven't had a full 1989 Dees show in a year and a half--not to mention the fact that we get January 1988 from Casey next week.

I love the fact that the app features a 1989 show. Just finished listening to it. For the longest time you could have convinced me that 1989 (from a musical perspective) never happened.

There is a strange “Super” coincidence with 3 shows on the app. (The 1989, 1995, and 2020 shows). All three of these years, the 49ers played in the Super Bowl and the site was in Miami, Florida for all three of these games. This year’s game completes the trifecta of this unusual coincidence on the Dees app this week.

App has been updated to: January 14, 1989 (it’s back!) January 14, 1995January 19, 2002 I think you made a mistake on 1995. I was listening on the app, and surprised nobody pointed it out the mistake. It's actually Jan 21, 1995! At least that's what caption says. SS Sheryl Crow - Strong Enough. And it was last aired in 2018 Jan 14, 1995 I believe was last aired in Dec 31, 2011 and the SS was REM - Bang and Blame, I was looking forward for that date

App has updated; this week's shows:
80s show hasn't updated yet, still Jan 14, 1989, Could it still? January 24, 1998 January 28, 2006
Is this a first for a 1998 show on the app?

1989 is still up there. And this is the first time a regular 1998 Rick Dees show has been offered over the app, or at all since at least 2012. (I think we got the 1998 year end show once and that was it.) It's as if he or someone was reminded in the last couple of weeks that 1989 and 1998 were in fact part of their respective decades. We don't get that much 2006 either.

I wish those two shows 1993 and 2001 would’ve been offered on the app this week.

I wish those two shows 1993 and 2001 would’ve been offered on the app this week. I don't, at least in terms of variety of years offered (personal musical taste aside). Not only have we heard them before, but on the app we instead get 1998 which we haven't heard at all in years and 2006 which is thus far played a lot less than 2001.
