I thought the 1987 show was excellent. Well, the music was great, the “comedy” bits were cringeworthy...especially “Jane Fondle”. What happened to #10 song? It skips to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” and Rick announces it as #9. Is that how it is on the App? Was that how it aired in 2012? I wonder what the #10 song was. I didn’t care for the remixes of “Open Your Heart” or “I Knew You Waiting (For Me)” but otherwise good show. Nice break from 1986, although I’m sure it’ll be a short break. Jon Bon Jovi sounded so young and I guess he was obviously, he was 25 that year but it was still so...weird.

I also listened to the show on the radio yesterday.

You mean #10 song wasn't played in the app and radio at all?

You mean #10 song wasn't played in the app and radio at all? Nope, not on radio. It skipped right to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”. Song #10 was missing. Thanks Mitchm for the answer. Oh btw WSTV dropped the 90s edition, so it’s even harder now to find the 90s show.

It was good to hear the 2008 show this week. We don’t get too many shows from the first half of that year. Hopes are that we will get some new shows in the mix this year. Hoping that we actually get some 2009 (CHR) shows and not anymore HAC shows from that year.

When I listened on the app, it seemed for whoever remastered the edit currently butchered the Rick dees intro to #10, song, Rick dees intro to #9 was edited out, and only went straight to #9 song. If that ever airs again by next year, they need to recheck the editing process and not skip songs. Oh and I didn't know WSTV used to air 90s before were already gone. KZOY now airs 90s on Sunday 7am-11am, did you not try that?

KZOY is running a "Spring Fling" special this morning. It was originally run on 04/12/86. The first song (sure shot) is Art of Noise playing "Legs". This show was last run in 2017.

Apr 2003 was last aired two years ago. Apr 10, 1993 is new to rick dees rerun And 4/12/86 is the "Spring Fling" countdown that has already been replayed umpteen times. As I recall it is mostly the same songs that would have appeared in a regular countdown, but ordered differently (based on listener requests or something?)

KZOY is playing another "All Request Special" this morning. It may well be 04/10/93, but Rick hasn't given a clue to the date yet (after 3 songs). I am only planning on listening to the first 2 hours this morning, but I am logging the songs being played. The first song played was listed as #40 (no sure shot) and was Janet Jackson & Luther Vandross doing "The Best Things in Life are Free".

Anyone know what is all request special for 1993 please? The MegaMix played about 3 or 4 snippets of some of her biggest songs.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the all request special especially “All I Want”, “Faithful”, “One”, “7”, “Enjoy The Silence”, “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off”...among others.
This is strictly from memory, I don’t know how accurate this is
1.Boys II Men-End Of The Road (featuring an “Up Close and Personal” segment before the song) 2.Spin Doctors-Two Princes 3.Vanessa Williams-Save The Best For Last 4.Snow-Informer 5.Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle-A Whole New World
I remember other songs but don’t remember where they ranked on the Countdown. Sorry.
