That was every Boys II Men top 10 hit except "In the Still of the Night" in that medley he played. Did not include "One Sweet Day" either undoubtedly because they did it with Mariah. Of course their new hit got nowhere near the top 10. Hannah from Angier, NC that he called is only 10 miles away from me. 13 years old in 2000 makes her just a little younger than me.

The 2000 show is full of memories for me, I remember hearing it when it first aired - I was in my first year of university at the time so it hits peak nostalgia time.

The format for the 2000 show is very similar to that Rick uses today. Same exact jingles were used and some songs have that annoying beginning where some other person is singing for the first part of lyric.

This week Rick switched them a bit early; I was listening to the 2000 show just a short time ago and it jumped ahead a year in mid-stream.

well , D2K is november 17, 2001 CHR, despite App says is November 10, 2001 CHR and it is a pity, because November 10, 2001 CHR is missing.

So will the November D2K shows go like this...2000, 2001, 2002, 2003? We shall see. Liked that song by Mick Jagger and Lenny Kravitz. So a chart first having the same 2 songs tie for biggest mover 2 weeks in a row. And those hits by Nickelback and Pink are on a collision course. Assuming they are using the R&R/Mediabase chart or somthing very close to it, I can see that Nickelback wins the battle. They go to #1 and stop Pink at #2 in the process. That was one great top 10. NSYNC was the only one that was not a great song IMO but still ok for a boy band. Btw, the 11/10/01 show may be missing but this show is based on the MyAT40 chart of 11/10/01. Dees is a week behind at this time evidently. Cannot keep up with when he is and when he is not!

I really enjoyed the 1988 show. Lots of songs we don't hear on AT40 the 80s.

I have checked and noticed that once November 10, 2001 CHR was the bonus hour show, so they have the show and rather than playing the whole show this weekend, they play the following week, November 17, 2001 CHR.
These people blind me.

These people blind me. . The same thing is apparently being done with the November 2008/November 2009 bonus segments we hear. We get the bonus material but not the full show, if 2002 and 2003 close out the month as anticipated.

On this week's 2001 show, the only act who also appears in the current Top 40 is Pink. (Ryan Seacrest pointed out this past weekend that she had the longest chart career of any act inside the Top 40).
If you include the published Hot AC chart, you could also add U2.

I really liked the 1988 show and I don’t think Mike Love could make that same terrorist joke today. Also, I don’t know if anyone else remembers this but when Rick mentioned the then new California Dream Barbie I got really nostalgic. I begged my mom to buy me one for my birthday and so happy to get one. Even though I’ve heard this show before I really enjoyed it. Like another poster said there are songs that I literally haven’t heard in years (Ex Another Lover by Giant Steps).
