This actually sets up the final six weekends nicely if the interns have paid attention. 82,87,81 and 80 down and the other six years to go. Sets up January to feature 80, 81 and 82 with fewer repeats and 87 will work if 86 goes soon.

Here's how I'm thinking the last six weekends will go:
11/23: 1985 11/30: 1983 12/7: 1986 12/14: 1988 12/21: 1984 12/28: 1989
Barring if they don't do any specials during either of the last two weeks of course, because I don't think they've done one yet this year. I can see a couple of them getting flipped around like they seemed to have done occasionally, namely the last two because the last weekend of 1989 is a frozen chart if I'm not mistaken.

We'd all sign up for this Laura. Last weekend of the decade and some late 1984 (We Belong, Born in the USA ) that was skipped last year.

So I got the first week right so far, as 1985 is next week, but it is the same as Premiere's from what I read. I think they'll be playing it earlier though because of Thanksgiving.

While we're discussing Sirius XM countdowns, it's worth noting that this week's 90s show (a top 30) is from November 16, 1991--the next to last time AT40 or any other countdown to my knowledge aired a contemperaneous show based on the Billboard Hot 100. Since then it's all been either the Billboard radio charts (for the rest of Shadoe's AT40), Radio & Records, Mediabase, or some affiliate-based or in-house tabulation.

That makes twice in the past three weeks that the two shows featured the same chart. Prior to November, it had been many months since this happened.

Next week's Copycat Casey, not free, 1983 We'll be finding out soon enough whether or not it'll be the same as Premiere again. I'm gearing toward 11/26 though if they want to get one more November show out there.

The one thing I wish with this show and that on holiday weekends when they choose to run it over and over and over and over and over again, they’d get some previous episodes and run those in addition to the regular weekly one. Running the same show every hour or two after the previous airing ends gets old. I’ll be out and about for a few hours here and there all weekend and I’m not going to drive and listen to the same show constantly all weekend.

Yes, 1985 is almost on auto replay! Lost track of how many times it has been played, and should be played at 9pm tonight and Saturday thru Tuesday. It is hard to figure out what date the VJs go with as far as next week goes. While 11-30 is closer to 12-3, they might stay with the current month of November, and play 11-26. It would make sense to do 1988 and 1989 in the last two weeks of December since 1989 wouldn't be repeated in the first week of January, and 1990 isn't played. It does take several weeks in the beginning of the year to get episodes that don't have so many songs repeated.

It should be played at the shows normally scheduled times. Outside of that, it should be replays of others.

They're replaying guest DJ spots all weekend amid the Big 40 airings, but they should at least replay the countdowns from the last two weeks once each or so so listeners won't get burnt out by the time its original airing comes.

The VJ Big 40 covering a chart from December 1984/January 1985 and December 1987/January 1988. Both of those time periods were skipped over in 2017-18.

I'm rooting for 12/3 for the VJs, as they've never done that week before.

But it sure would make more sense, what with tomorrow being the 1st and Tuesday being the 4th.
