Mike Kasem was let go from Premiere last July-That was the same weekend Casey hosted the final editions of "American Top 20" & "American Top 10".

Mike Kasem hasn't done voice-overs since...I don't know when, exactly. It was up until some point during the summer last year - someone else would know the exact week. Larry Morgan took over the Premiere voice-over job and has been doing it ever since. So Larry Morgan got let go now too and they hired this Rick and Mary Beth...or does WRVF do their own extras? It would seem that Premiere would get mad (and possibly fine or pull the show from WRVF) because they don't use Larry Morgan...wouldn't they?

WRVF does their own extras.
Premiere shouldn't get mad, because the extras they provide are optional. The stations are free to do whatever they want with those slots. Most stations either play the premiere extras or run additional commercials.

A little thing I noticed about both this week's show and next week's:
Both shows feature Tina Turner sliding into her peak position with a big hit. Both shows feature Stevie Wonder having the highest debut with a hit that would go all the way to #1.
Yes, there's quite a few other artists-in-common, but none of them match up exactly like these two.
-----
Predictions for Extras:
I'll stick to my guess that Premiere might supply Casey's famous blow-up rant, which would be best third. For the other three...
Jan Hammer - "Miami Vice Theme" Tears For Fears - "Head Over Heels" Starship - "We Built This City"

Most stations either play the premiere extras or run additional commercials. Thanks for that. I am now listening to the second half of AT40 - 80s on WMJJ from Birmingham and not only do they play the regular extras with Larry Morgan, but they throw in their own extras and don't announce them! I heard "Kiss on My List" about 30 mins ago and another tune not from that AT40 about 15 min before that. At 12:26pm ET, another one was "Kiss You All Over." They did not delete any of AT40, so maybe WMJJ just sells less commercials and uses the extra minutes for songs of that year? What a bonus!

Were you listening online? If so, it may have been filler content that plays on the webstream when they air their commercials. Listening on WQSR on Sunday nights, I always hear the same filler songs when they go to local commercial content.

Another flawless Sunday for WQSR. All the correct segments aired, all the segments played, and the show ran on time literally to the exact minute every hour. Color me impressed!!

Mix Maine 107.9 is running the August 17, 1985 show right now! I'm not sure if they might not be running a marathon today, I'll try to find out.
Sorry, no marathon today I guess. This show originally aired from Premiere last August 2009.

I will have to go back and listen to last weeks recording, but they did have a problem with the commercials during hour 4 of the 1983 show. Half of a song was cut out and another song, completely omitted due to commercials. But most of the time Magic 96.5 airs the show completely and clean.

Premiere definitely is not airing Casey's profanity-filled rant.

I was wondering - if someone posts the next show ahead of time, could they please post "Spoiler Alert" and perhaps write in black font so it's not as easy to spot, to preserve the element of surprise a little better? Thanks in advance. If anybody can show me (privately, please) how to put up a spoiler alert, I'll consider it.

I had a feeling that Premiere wasn't going to air Casey's on-air meltdown-Besides you can hear it uncensored on You Tube.

I can't imagine why they would or even how they would work it into the show.
