Anybody know where I can find a list of AT40 guest hosts and the dates of guest-hosted shows (I'm primarily interested in the 1980s era)? I swear I remember seeing this somewhere before, but can't remember where.

Regarding Premiere guest hosts, who was the v.o. in late 2008? I'm listening to the Magic 98 marathon. The only voice over I have heard since I've tuned in to Premiere is Larry Morgan.

I wonder if the people at Premiere have ever determined the show they regret the most being guest hosted. I will nominate the show of 6/9/79 as the show that Premiere wishes Casey had done out of all the shows that were guest hosted (since they cannot currently play guest hosted shows). Here is why. #1....it is the only time in the '70s that an act achieved their 6th consecutive #1 as the Bee Gees did that week. (Ironically, the same thing would happen in the '80s when the show that Whitney Houston got her 6th straight #1 was guest hosted. However, AT40 caught a break when she extended her streak to 7 and Casey did that show). #2.....this is for those of you who like to follow closely the #1s on other charts. The guest host mentioned the #1s on 4 different charts and with the #1 on the HOT 100, for the only time in the '70s or '80s, there were 5 different songs representing those #1s AND they were all in the top 10....HOT 100 #1...Love You Inside Out...Disco #1 Bad Girls album represented by Hot Stuff at #2....Soul #1 We Are Family at #3....Album chart #1 Breakfast in America represented by The Logical Song at #7...Country #1 She Believes in Me at #10. And just for good measure, not mentioned was the AC #1 Just When I Needed You Most at #5. Very unique top of the chart that week!

Very unique top of the chart that week! 10/24/87: The top 3 songs belong to Prince, Madonna, and Michael Jackson - maybe not the top three superstars of the decade, but certainly three of the most visible. No way that show doesn't at least make the list. Funny that you mention Whitney Houston breaking the consecutive #1s streak...that was actually my main reason for choosing to record the 4/30/88 show earlier this year. I remembered Casey's intro and outro to her song moving into #1 from the 4/23 show last year, and wishing I'd had the means to be able to record that. So, I made sure not to miss it again this time around for 4/30.

Yup. it was that Pat O'Brien. And honestly, he was not one of the best, IMO
Also, its interesting to see how much time Casey took off from 98-03, but how little time he took off in his last five years when he just had the AC shows
